In 2007, Karen stepped out of a successful in-house marketing career to apply her skills as a consultant. Intent on doing great work while having fun, she partnered with Doug, Susan, and Scott to offer Harp and Company clients a broad range of marketing services including marketing strategy, planning and budgeting, public relations, social media applications, blogging, website content development and navigation, advertisement placement planning, and marketing collateral specification. Her work takes her around the world—though only virtually (rats!)—to assist clients that represent the full range of vertical markets: technology, education, retail, services, health care, and manufacturing.
Karen loves playing outside and reading, though most of her “free time” is devoted to nonprofit teenager services including chauffeuring, stocking the correct snack foods, finding lost items, and spectating at plays and meets.
