Background

Good design results from listening, understanding,
and interpreting. It is based on ideas, not trends.
Harp and Company is a well-rounded design and
communications firm. We have designed and managed
print, branding and web projects for clients ranging
from the National Zoo to Lincoln Center; from the Tuck
School of Business at Dartmouth and World Kitchen
(formerly Corning Consumer Products Company) to
Cayuga Medical Center and Shepard Butler Landscape
Architecture. Exposure to this broad range of
clients and projects keeps our thinking fresh, feeds
our imaginations, and encourages us to see and
create appropriate solutions that stand out, and that
don’t mimic the marketing materials of our
clients’ competitors.
We have formed strategic partnerships with
marketing and web consultants, and we work regularly
with a broad range of writers and photographers.

We work with our clients on any creative project
that helps them achieve their goals: from collateral
materials (in print and electronic format) and the design or redesign of a website, to a complete rebranding program. In short, what we do helps our clients better deliver their messages.
Harp and Company’s award-winning work has been
published in books and design journals internationally.
Though our work fits no particular style, people seem
to recognize it when they see it: it’s clean, colorful
and compelling. And it’s fun.
