This was a complex communications challenge: the text consists of multiple dialogues among various individuals – from patients, nurses and doctors, to administrative staff and benefactors – associated with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The concept was complex enough that we recommended, in fact, that there be a word or two in the front on how to read the piece. As counterintuitive as this sounds, the annual report was deemed a great success.
