The visual concept for this annual report was quite out
of the box for this Fortune 500 company. Robert Barker’s major location
photography would be in black and white, but with the section of each photo
that Corning was either directly or indirectly responsible for (e.g., clean
blue sky over Germany’s Black Forest due to the manufacture of pollution-cutting
ceramic substrate filters) would be printed in color. People loved it.
